Heather destroys Leah’s house after a tense confrontation in Home and Away?

Marilyn (Emily Symons) has left her friends stunned after suddenly confessing to slashing John’s (Shane Withington) tyres, saying that she did it after they had an argument. However, John himself refuses to believe Marilyn is capable of such an act, and decides to go to the police so justice can be served.

However, his suspicions that Heather (Sofia Nolan) was really behind the crime turn out impossible to prove, as Nikau (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) tells Rose (Kirsty Marillier) that he was with Heather at the time everything happened. Instead, Rose is left with Marilyn’s confession – so John decides to withdraw the charges.

When Heather finds out that Marilyn took the fall for her, she pulls her mum into a grateful hug. Marilyn is overjoyed to finally feel she is connecting with her daughter, but when Heather sees how understanding Marilyn’s friends and family are, she becomes increasingly angry. Why is Marilyn never being punished?

Leah (Ada Nicodemou) chats with Marilyn later in the Diner, and while she’s happy to learn about mother and daughter bonding, she’s concerned that her friend would take the blame for a crime.

Although Marilyn has her rose-coloured glasses on, Leah sees the truth – if Heather is capable of this, what else could she do?

Leah goes to the caravan park and tells Heather she knows the truth. She warns Heather to stop her games, or she will go straight to the police. Heather simply smiles, Leah’s words having no impact.

Later, Leah opens her front door and is stunned to see the whole place has been trashed. She calls the police to report the break-in, feeling certain she knows who’s behind it. Has Heather decided to try and teach Leah a lesson?
