Everyone loves a short work week or a long weekend to recharge the batteries.
Although Christmas and New Years have just been, many are wondering when the next bank holidays are coming.
Bank holidays are named so because banks, government offices and most businesses are closed on these days.
These three-day weekends give workers a chance to take some time off from their work lives to spend time with friends and family.
While the weather may be a bit dreary now, the bank holidays in May will hopefully give people an opportunity to enjoy some sunshine.

When is the next bank holiday?
If you live in Northern Ireland, the next bank holiday is St Patrick’s Day on Tuesday, March 17.
If you’re in England, Wales or Scotland, you’ll have to wait until Easter.
UK workers will get Good Friday on April 10 and Easter Monday on April 13 off.
Unfortunately, there is not two bank holiday Mondays in May this year like usual.
The early bank holiday – known as May Day – has been pushed back four days to Friday, May 8 and will coincide with the 75th anniversary of VE Day.
VE Day, or Victory in Europe Day celebrates the announcement of Nazi Germany’s surrender in World War 2 .
Brits set for holiday bonanza as pound soars and costs fall
The three-day weekend will see commemorative events happening on each day.
As Christmas falls on a Friday this year Brits get Tuesday, December 28 off as a substitute Boxing Day.
