“Bachelor in Paradise” alum Dean Unglert revealed he once had a crush on “Bachelorette” vet Andi Dorfman.
On Wednesday’s broadcast of his podcast “Help! I Suck at Dating with Dean, Jared & ….,” Unglert — who is currently dating former “Bachelor” contestant Caelynn Miller-Keyes — was asked by co-host Jared Haibon if he had ever slid into the DMs of a “Bachelor” star.
“That’s just asking for me to get in trouble with my girlfriend,” Unglert replied.
“I think before I had gone on ‘Paradise’ for the second time, I might have slid into Andi Dorfman’s DMs or maybe I asked [“Bachelor” alum] Amanda Stanton to introduce me to her,” he continued. “I can’t remember. I think it’s the latter, not the former. I don’t think I ever actually officially slid, but there was a point where I had a crush on her.”
Dorfman, 33, handed out the roses as “The Bachelorette” in 2014, getting engaged to former baseball player Josh Murray. After breaking up the following year, Murray appeared on the third season of “Bachelor in Paradise” in 2016, when he coupled up with Stanton. They have since called it quits.
“I just thought she was cute,” Unglert said of Dorfman. “I think Amanda Stanton posted a picture with her and I was like, ‘Oh, that girl is cute,’ then I clicked on her page and was like, ‘Oh, that girl used to be the Bachelorette,’ and that was basically the end of that.”
Unglert, 29, and Stanton both starred in the fourth season of “Bachelor in Paradise” in 2017. Two years later, he returned to the series and met his current girlfriend, Miller-Keyes, 24.
In February, Unglert and Miller-Keyes were rumored to have tied the knot. Unglert was said to be sporting a ring in an Instagram story, according to E! News.
