Initially known as the Catch Me Outside Girl from Dr. Phil, Danielle Bregoli “Bhad Bhabie” has worked to distance herself from her original appearance. She recently came out with her experience at a ranch for troubled teens Dr. Phil sent her to, demanding an apology. A couple of weeks later, the rapper opened an account on OnlyFans, breaking a platform record.
Danielle Bregoli, known initially as “Catch Me Outside Girl’ from ‘Dr. Phil’
Born in Boynton Beach, Florida, Danielle Bregoli and her mother appeared in a Set. 2016 episode of the talk show Dr. Phil to discuss her out-of-control behavior at home.
During the filming of the episode, she stole a crew member’s car. On stage, Dr. Phil McGraw called out Bregoli, but she repeatedly snapped back, causing the audience to react.
She grew irritated with them and somewhat jokingly challenged them to a fight after filming wrapped, responding, “catch me outside, how about that?”
The way she said the phrase became a viral meme, resulting in songs and merchandise, and people began referring to her as the “Catch Me Outside Girl.” Additionally, she received a nomination at the 2017 MTV Movie & TV Awards for “Trending.”
Bregoli later began rapping under moniker Bhad Bhabie
By Mar. 2017, music manager Adam Kluger signed the internet personality, and she released her first single, “These Heaux,” a few months later. The single peaked at number 77 on the Billboard Hot 100, making the then 14-year-old, the youngest female rapper to hit the charts.
It also resulted in Atlantic Records signing the young personality to a multi-album deal.
Throughout the year, she released several songs, including a few such as “Mama Don’t Worry (Still Ain’t Dirty),” in which she noted she would like to move on from her Dr. Phil persona.
After “Gucci Flip Flops,” the rapper received a 2018 Billboard Music Award nomination for Best Female Rap Artist. Bregoli then released debut mixtape 15 and embarked on a tour where critics compared her stage presence to Britney Spears’ early years.
She recently broke OnlyFans record, how old is she?
In 2019, the Florida native slowed down on music and began focusing on other ventures. In Feb., she signed a six-month endorsement deal with Copycat Beauty to promote the brand in her music videos and social media accounts.
The rapper then landed her own 12-episode reality television show on Snapchat, which reportedly received over 10 million unique viewers in the first 24 hours.
In Dec. 2019, she took a social media hiatus following her controversial box braid hairstyle as many accused her of cultural appropriation. Bregoli returned a couple of months later and has since released a few singles, including one, “That’s What I Said,” to address the backlash.
Shortly after coming forward regarding her experience at the “troubled teens” ranch where Dr. Phil sent her, Bregoli launched an OnlyFans account.
The platform allows anyone to post whatever “exclusive” content they want but is typically used to share pornographic images and videos. She earned over $757,000 from subscriptions charging $23.99 a month, over $267,000 from private messages, and over $5,000 in tips, raking in over $1 million in the first six hours.
Her successful debut broke the record previously held by Bella Thorne, who earned around the same after 24 hours. The rapper turned 18-years-old on Mar. 26, a week before she joined the platform.
