A seven-year-old boy has delighted This Morning viewers with a ukulele rendition of We’ll Meet Again after being inspired by Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
Noah Owen, from Bexhill-on-Sea, East Sussex, appeared on the show with father Lee, where he explained his son has set himself a challenge to learn 102 songs to raise money for the Poppy Appeal.
The schoolboy was inspired by Kate Middleton and Prince William’s video call to the Royal British Legion home Mais House, where Noah has been volunteering for nearly two years, on VE Day in May this year.
Kate, 38, revealed Prince George, seven, and Princess Charlotte, five, were asked by their teachers to learn Dame Vera Lynn’s famous wartime anthem – inspiring Lee and Noah to raise £8,500 for residents of the home through music.

‘Daddy’s been teaching them,’ told Noah .’I can remember everything I say. It was my idea because I wanted to raise money for the Poppy Appeal’.
Originally Noah aimed to sing 30 songs in 30 days, but now hopes to learn one popular song from every year since the end of the First World War, up until 2020.
Lee went on: ‘He’s been visiting the residents of Mais House, Noah was doing activities for the residents of Mais house for about two years.
‘She [Kate] did a Skype session with two of our veterans at Mais house and she said she was going to be teaching her son the words to We’ll Meet Again, and I said, “I wonder if we can get people to sponsor Noah to sing songs?”.’

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made their video call to residents of the East Sussex care home to listen to them reminisce about the day the war ended in Europe on May 8 1945.
During their video call in May, William praised the efforts of the wartime generation, and told them: ‘Because we can’t be together, everyone’s still thinking of you all today, and are very proud of everything you’ve all achieved.’
Revealing that her children were learning the word’s to the famous wartime anthem, Kate said: ‘The school has set all the children a challenge and they’re currently trying to learn the lyrics to the song We’ll Meet Again… so it’s been really lovely having that playing every day.’
After performing his own delightful rendition of the song, viewers quickly took to Twitter to praise seven-year-old Owen, hailing him a ‘ray of sunshine’ and insisting he left a ‘smile on their face’.
