Mum-of-two Nita Marie was formerly a conservative businesswoman selling cosmetics.
However, things all changed after divorcing her husband.
The blonde 46-year-old, from Colorado, US, turned to X-rated site OnlyFans to get her confidence back – and she hasn't looked back since.
Nita Marie admits that a lot of friends and family were shocked by her bold career move, as were many from the Christian community, which she is a part of.
Talking about starting her OnlyFans account, Nita Marie exclusively told Daily Star: "I started my OnlyFans account after my divorce five years ago.
"I wanted to start modelling again to increase my confidence and self-esteem.
"However, because I was a single mum, I needed to make money from it too."
She continued: "In the six months before Covid hit, I was making around $40,000 (£30,000) a month.
"However, during that pandemic, it skyrocketed to $100,000 (£74,000) a month, which has continued at the same level over the last two years."
In fact, Nita Marie has become so successful on the site, that she now coaches other women on how to run a successful OnlyFans page, with 400 models currently on her roster.
Talking about her experience on OnlyFans, Nita Marie only has good things to say, a she admits: "It's been great. I'm very blessed it took off like it did.
"OnlyFans is still the best platform out there for adult models as it has the most people using it."
However, despite Nita Marie happy with her decision to sell her sexy snaps and videos, not everyone is.
Asked how her family and friends first reacted to her joining the site, the model admits they were surprised.
"I was a fairly conservative Christian businesswoman and then went the other way so they were very shocked," she said.
"I did lose a couple of friends, but I was able to repair most of them.
"One or two of them never understood what I was doing though."
Many in the Christian community weren't happy either.
Nita Marie added: "I separated my modelling business from the rest of my life on Facebook, so I don't get that much hate from people I know.
"But there's a lot of people who say that I can't be Christian and do OnlyFans.
"I've been told that I'm led by satan – there's a whole stigma around it in the Christian world.
"I've not experienced a ton of hate to my face though, just on the internet."
Nita Marie says she mostly "ignores" the haters, however she has answered back to people before, especially to those she feels are "hypocritical".
"Christians are not supposed to not judge, but the Christian following tends to be very judgemental," she told us.
As well as her OnlyFans page, Nita Marie runs six different business, including her former cosmetics company.
She is also taking part in a spiritual-based project this year.
The model told us: "It's a docs-series about four women who're working to discover their spirituality and wanting to reclaim the word 'witch'.
"It's all about helping people heal themselves.
"I've healed my sexuality through OnlyFans and want to help other people heal their sexual trauma."
