An electrician has been praised for their heartwarming act of kindness to a little boy.
A woman said the labourers had been working on the family home for the past six weeks.
Their little boy, named Theo, became "obsessed" with them during this period.
She said he was always around them and constantly asked the electricians questions and whether he could help.
However, instead of getting annoyed at the disruptions, she revealed the family had received a lovely note from the workmen for Theo.
This came in the form of a payslip addressed to him for his 'work' on the job.
Theo was rewarded £1.50 for measuring items, counting and adding up sockets, catering in the form of 'yummy cookies', volunteering and quality assurance (asking lots of questions).
This all added up to the sum of £15, which was paid to him in cash.
The woman, named Suzanne, shared a screenshot of the payslip with her 3,865 followers on Twitter as she wrote: "Possibly the sweetest act of kindness I’ve seen.
"Family had electricians in every week for the past 6 weeks and their little boy was obsessed with them.
"He hounded them with questions, kindness and constant offers to help!
"The little boy just received this from them."
The tweet soon went viral – racking up more than 8,300 retweets and 112,000 likes.
One fellow social media replied: "Little things like that make such a difference to a kid, well done on that firm."
While another added: "Imagine that little boy's face! Lovely act of kindness and great life lesson."
A friend of the company who sent the payslip even got in touch, writing: "This is our friends business, they were only telling us about this last night and today it’s gone mad!
"They are genuinely lovely lads and they deserve all the credit they’re getting for it. Well done lads."
Meanwhile, Theo's mum even replied.
She added: "Thanks for posting!
"Theo was super chuffed when he received his first pay slip and hard earned pennies!
"We can’t believe it’s gone viral! Sat here in shock!"

In other news, another note also went viral recently.
A woman found a strange love letter and two sausages on doorstep from a secret admirer.
Elleanor Holland was handed the strange package by her elderly neighbour who spotted it outside her house in Barnoldswick, Lancashire.
When the 25-year-old opened the white envelope, a note read: “I will always love you”.
Along with this, two jumbo frankfurter sausages were also included in the parcel.
