Endeavor’s Asylum Entertainment Group Adds Ben Bitonti and Eric Hoberman to Executive Team (EXCLUSIVE)

Non-scripted television producer Asylum Entertainment Group has added Ben Bitonti and Eric Hoberman to its executive team. Bitonti joins as chief creative officer, while Hoberman will serve as exec VP of programming and development. Both will report to president Jodi Flynn.

“Both Ben and Eric offer a wealth of knowledge paired with the critical instincts and strong creative skills that are necessary to grow our business and thrive in this competitive industry,” said Steve Michaels, CEO of Asylum.

This marks a return to Asylum for Bitonti, who previously served as VP of development, working on projects like Bravo’s “Cyrus vs. Cyrus: Design and Conquer” and “To Rome for Love,” as well as “Origins: The Journey of Humankind” for National Geographic and “In Ice Cold Blood” for Oxygen. In his time away from Asylum, Bitonti served as chief creative officer and head of unscripted content for Game1 Entertainment and has also held roles at 101 Studios and STX Entertainment.

Hoberman previously served as head of development at Religion of Sports, a production company founded by Tom Brady, Gotham Chopra and Michael Strahan. Before that, Hoberman was senior VP of development at ITV America, where he worked on titles like Netflix’s “The Longest Third Date” and TLC’s “Taken at Birth.”

These two hires come on the heels of Endeavor’s 2023 investment in Asylum, along with Asylum’s first-look deal with Comandante Productions (led by Rage Against the Machine’s Tom Morello). Asylum’s current banner includes Content Group, Texas Crew Productions, Big City TV, Breaklight Pictures and Audity, now included in Endeavor’s non-scripted content division.
