Fredrik Eklund announced Monday that he’s leaving the “Million Dollar Listing” franchise.
“After an amazing 11 years, I’ve decided it’s time for the next chapter of my life, and to leave Million Dollar Listing. It’s an end of an era and a new start for me,” he wrote in an Instagram post.
Eklund, 44, was one of the only remaining original “Million Dollar Listing New York” cast members. In 2019, he became bicoastal and starred on the Los Angeles franchise as well.
“I let Andy [Cohen], the Producers and the Executives know last week how grateful I am. Eternally grateful, I mean what an incredible run we had together,” he continued.
The real estate mogul continued to reflect on the last nine seasons on “MDLNY” and one season on “MDLLA.”

“All of my most memorable milestones from the last decade I shared with all of you: meeting Derek [Kaplan], our wedding, the miscarriages, the birth of our twins, and all the beautiful properties. I will always cherish that shared experience,” he concluded.
Bravo confirmed that Eklund will not be returning to either series.
Fans flooded the comments with notes of both sadness and support.
“You will be greatly missed Fredrick! Thank you for sharing so much of your life with us! Wishing you, Derek and the kids all the best!” one fan wrote.
“It was an honor being able to see behind the curtain into your life. Thank you for sharing that time with us, what a treat it has been!” another commented.
“I will miss you so much!!! You have been my favorite since day !! Can’t believe it’s been a decade watching you. Love to your family and future!” someone else chimed in.
Eklund wed Kaplan in 2013 and welcomed 4-year-old twins Mila and Freddy in 2017.
Bravo has yet to announce the cast for Season 10 of “MDLNY” or Season 14 of “MDLLA.”
