A teenager has taken to TikTok to say that she is finished with having children – despite being only 19 years old.

Tylar Fertuck, from Saskatoon in Canada, has 224,000 followers on TikTok, and she recently took to the platform to answer a viewer’s question, which was: ‘How old did you have Tessa?’

Mother-of-two Tylar responded to her by saying: ‘I got pregnant with Tessa when I was 15. I was 16 when she was born. Then I got pregnant with TJ when I was 17. And I was still 17 when he was born.

‘I was done having kids before I turned 18,’ the TikTok user said as she danced around to a song.

The video got more than 52,000 likes, which prompted a rather mixed response in the comments.

Someone asked if she had planned to have her second child when she was 17 – to which Tylar responded: ‘Yes’ with a yellow love heart emoji.

One person wrote: ‘You are gonna have a great 30s.’ Another penned: ‘I love all your videos and Tessa and TJ are so lucky to have you as their mum, you guys have an incredible family.’

A third commented: ‘You are such a good mum to the kiddos and they are so cute. Did you find you got a lot of judgement?’

But others weren’t so positive. One TikTok user wrote: ‘Such a shame,’ while another commented: ‘and by 30 you can be a grandma!’

The content creator usually posts videos and pictures with her children online – but another viewer asked why they rarely see her boyfriend on camera in a separate video.

Tylar responded to that person and said: ‘He’s rarely in videos simply because he doesn’t want to be.

‘Same with the kids most days, I’d never force anyone to take pictures or videos if they didn’t want to.’
