Michael Whitehall is an English television producer, talent agent, television personality and author.

He was a successful agent for the likes of Judi Dench, Colin Firth, and Richard Griffiths, and has written a memoir called Shark Infested Waters: Tales of an Actors’ Agent, which Jack also illustrated.

However, more recently he has starred alongside his son Jack in the Netflix comedy documentary series Jack Whitehall: Travels with My Father, becoming a TV personality in his own right.

The pair are starring in a special BBC programme called Jack Whitehall’s Father’s Day on Friday, which will include seeing the duo compete for the Masterchef title from home.

Jack shared a clip of the hilarious episode on Twitter, saying: “Tonight 8:30 BBC one. Cooking doesn’t get any tougher than this. (I mean it definitely does, I was cooking against a man who can’t fry an egg) #FathersDay

@BBCOne @MasterChefUK @fatherwhitehall.”

The clip shows Jack dropping things in the kitchen as Masterchef judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace watch in horror.

The show was filmed during lockdown, so they are having to obey social distancing rules.

However, in the programme Jack will visit his dad Michael by setting up on the pavement outside his front door to spend some quality time together, reminiscing over old family photos, awkward home video footage and tell some classic Whitehall tales.

But which of the two stars is the richest?
