HOUSEHOLDS getting on top of their spring cleaning early this year might want to take advantage of a sale of Shark vacuum cleaners.
Vacuums from the highly-rated brand are on offer at posh retailer John Lewis.
Cordless vacuum cleaners from Shark can retail for £500 or more.
But shoppers can get as much as £250 off some of the brand's products at John Lewis currently.
The Shark pet cordless vacuum cleaner with anti hair wrap and powerfins has been discounted to £279.99 from £529.99.
That's by far the cheapest we've seen it – as it was still selling at full price on AO.com and Shark Clean when we checked.
Unfortunately, the hugely reduced product is now sold out on John Lewis but there are other vacuums in the range still available.
Shoppers can still save £169 on the Shark pet upright vacuum cleaner with anti hair wrap and powered lift-away, now down to £199.99.

The vacuum can transform into a lightweight, portable vacuum cleaner by lifting the main unit away from the wand.
It also has three floor settings and a long eight metre power cord.
The smaller Shark pet bagless cylinder vacuum cleaner has been reduced by £50 to £199.99.
The compact design is extra lightweight and has pivot wheels which make it easy to move around from room to room when cleaning.
But while the reductions are big, remember it's only a bargain if you wanted the item anyway.
We've asked John Lewis how long the sale will last and will update this story when we find out.
Shoppers should always check around for the best deal too, as prices can vary between retailers.
Make use of voucher codes too, which can bag you discounts or free delivery.
And check cashback sites such as Topcashback or Quidco to see if you can get money back on your purchase as well.
You should also check historical prices to make sure the deal is as good as it seems.
Recent research from Which? found that nine out of 10 Black Friday shopping deals were actually fake offers, where products had been the same price or cheaper in the weeks before.
