Kara Keough Bosworth is “proud and scared as hell” to announce that she is expanding her family.
Jeana Keough’s daughter revealed her pregnancy news in a Thursday Instagram post, writing that baby No. 4 is due in November.
The 34-year-old debuted her bump in sweet family photos taken on the beach with husband Kyle Bosworth, daughter Decker, 7, and son Vaughn, 2.
The couple previously welcomed son McCoy in April 2020, but the infant died six days after his arrival due to childbirth complications.

Three years after his passing, Kara is now experiencing a “reluctance to let the excitement [of her pregnancy] fully absorb.”
However, she noted, “It SHOULD be a happy occasion that [my kids are] getting another sibling. … I can’t deny that it feels right that those that have sat with us on our grieving bench should have a seat in our joyous swings too.”
With that in mind, the Bravolebrity chose to make her news public, admitting that she was also pressured by Decker and Jeana, 67, not being able to “keep a secret for s–t.”
Notably, Kara did not tell “anyone that didn’t need to know” when she was pregnant with Vaughn, her rainbow baby.

“I was cocooned in a world of pain and did my best to shield myself from as many landmines as possible,” she explained on Thursday. “I wanted to keep our joy private.
“And when I did share, it sounded like I was telling them ‘I have ulcers,’” Kara continued. “It was not a joyous celebration. It was a painstaking and brutal admission: ‘I’m at risk for another heart-shattering catastrophe.’”
When Vaughn was born in April 2021, Kara wrote via Instagram that the little one was “an unexpected serendipity” and “a little hope” amid their grief.
While Jeana has yet to comment on Kara’s latest social media upload, the “Real Housewives of Orange County” alum did post a couple of maternity shoot snaps to her Instagram Story.
Jeana became a grandma in January 2016 when Kara and Kyle, 36, welcomed Decker, two years after the couple’s wedding.
