The summer break for the Royal Family has come to an end which means good things for us fans as they start to return to their royal duties.
One Royal in which we’re particularly happy to see venture back to special appearances is none other than Kate Middleton.
After seeing her make a swift outfit change during a visit to Windermere on Tuesday, it’s The Duchesses most recent appearance that left us praising the mum-of-three for coming back to public life in serious style.
On Wednesday evening, Kate attended a reception at the National Portrait Gallery with partners who supported her Hold Still project and of course she dressed perfectly for the occasion.
The 39-year-old went for a head-to-toe white ensemble and honestly we’re left speechless at how she looked.
For the occasion, Kate opted for another brilliant lace trim chiffon dress from Self Portrait.
But in order to stick to the Royal protocol of not having her full arms on show, Kate had the dress redesigned with added sleeves – and wow we love it!

To finish off the fantastic ensemble, Kate swept her luscious locks back into a high ponytail but still kept her signature wave.
This allowed for her much-loved Freya Rose earrings to be on show for everyone to see, along with a dainty gold necklace which finished off her chic look perfectly.
Kate previously wore the earrings back in May 2021 to mark Mental Health Awareness Week during a visit in Wolverhampton.

This isn’t the first time we have seen Kate redesign a look. Back in 2017 we saw her attend the BAFTA awards in a gorgeous black floral, off-the-shoulder Alexander McQueen gown.
The Duchess then chose to rewear the look two years later at a charity gala but made slight alteration of adding capped sleeves in order to be more appropriate for the event.
Now that we’re seeing Kate step out more and more, we can’t wait to see what The Duchess will sport (or redesign) next.
