Late yesterday, Cleveland Cavaliers star Kevin Love posted an image on his Instagram showing a selfie with Cleveland arena staff workers. Love wrote that he was concerned about the anxiety caused by the coronavirus and the impact the virus will have on the Cleveland staff after the NBA’s decision to suspend play earlier this week.
Love also had a broader message to fans and followers “Be kind to one another. Be understanding of their fears, regardless if you don’t feel the same”

The NBA issued a statement on Wednesday saying the 2019-2020 season will be suspended “until further notice.” The decision came after Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert tested positive for coronavirus. On Thursday, Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell also confirmed that he had contracted the virus. Almost 58 other Jazz players were tested, but none of those tests came back positive.
For now, no NBA games will be played. Commissioner Adam Silver said on Thursday that it’s possible for the season to resume eventually. But as of now, it’s too early to tell.
