A cat owner was shocked to discover his new furry friend was the last of the litter despite having an epic moustache and goatee.
Tom Gudgeon, 30, from Dalston, London, couldn’t believe his luck when he picked Nigel up last October.
Five-month-old Nigel has been compared to Captain Jack Sparrow from film Pirates of the Caribbean due to his adorable markings.
The tuxedo kitten appears to have a ‘walrus’ style moustache underneath his nose and a goatee.

Five-month-old Nigel has been compared to Captain Jack Sparrow from film Pirates of the Caribbean due to his adorable markings.
‘I’ve always wanted a feline friend and Nigel is perfect,’ explained delivery driver Tom.
‘I was surprised to see he was the last kitten left.
He continued: ‘I thought a kitten with his unique markings would be snapped up straight away.
‘His moustache has gained him a lot of attention which he loves.’

Tom went on to say how he takes Nigel on walks in a cat bag – and people often stop to compliment him.
‘Everyone is amazed by Nigel’s moustache and goatee,’ he explained. ‘They say he looks like Charlie Chaplin or Captain Jack Sparrow!
‘He is an attention seeker so he adores the extra fuss. Everyone loves him!’
It comes after a cat in China became an internet sensation after viral footage emerged of the pet appearing to look ‘permanently upset’ due to its unique markings.
The moggie, nicknamed ‘Panda’, was seen in videos with two black spots above its eyes and a moustache-shaped stripe under its nose, seemingly frowning with a pair of furrowed eyebrows.
Videos of the unusual-looking animal have attracted millions of web users who are amused by its ‘sad expression’.
