Like many eateries across the UK, Almost Famous, a burger bar in the Great Northern leisure centre in Manchester, is currently offering a reduced menu to ‘allow a safer and more efficient operation’ while social distancing measures are in force in the kitchen.

They proceeded to award the restaurant one star across all categories – including food, service and ambience.

‘The burgers on the menu f****** rock and we are so proud of them and what the team are achieving under the current circumstances. Please don’t be a LeanneM.’
Despite being stripped back, the Almost Famous menu still features five variations of double cheeseburger, made with beef patties, as well as a vegan burger, chicken wings with a choice of three sauces, and three types of fries.
Many fans tweeted in support of the restaurant, with many claiming LeanneM missed out by leaving before trying the food.

One wrote: ‘Their loss. Best burgers in Manchester,’ while another admitted: ‘Looking at your burger pics, considering driving from London to try one.’
And one advised: ‘Some advice for LeanneM, check before travelling. Confirmation of a reduced menu & the actual menu is clearly advertised on @AlmostFamousGN website.’
‘The biggest regret that person has ever made,’ tweeted another. ‘One day when Leannem loses all tastes buds, tears will flow down creating rivers of sadness and I’ll be there with an Xmas special burger(can’t wait for it again) also crying but with joy.’
