Sue Radford has come under fire for taking her young children to see the hit film.

Posting on the family's YouTube page, the mum-of-22 shared footage from Phoebe's 7th birthday.

The youngster opened up her presents, blew out her candles and enjoyed a KFC takeaway.

Then to round off her birthday, Phoebe, along with her siblings, went to see the blockbuster.

The film, with Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, has a 12A rating which means kids of any age can see it with an adult.

But there's been a lot of debate as to whether the movie is actually suitable for younger kids to watch.

Sue's youngest daughter Heidie is just three, but joined her siblings to watch the film.

The mum, who pointed out they all wore pink, said: "We're going to see Barbie aren't we!"

Some people turned to the comments section, as one said: "So I heard the movie was PG 13 and not good for kids.

"Is that true?"

To which another replied: "In the UK it's under 12 with an adult, in Australia it's PG any age, in the USA it's 13+."

Actress Margot previously said director Greta Gerwig claimed the movie "really is for everyone".

She added: "And the comedy plays on so many different – the whole movie plays on so many different levels.

"I mean, so much of it is so silly, and absurd and ridiculous."

But many parents on Facebook insisted it was entirely inappropriate for young kids to watch.

One mum asked for advice as to whether she should take her child to see it.

She said: "It's not advertised as a kids' film. It's advertised for adults. It's 12A for a reason."

Another commented: "Definitely not a kids' movie."

So what do you think?

The news comes as Sue claimed to quit social media for the summer to spend time with the kids.
