Orlando Bloom fixes misspelled Morse code tattoo of son Flynn’s name

Tat’s better!

On Wednesday, Orlando Bloom revealed a corrected version of the tattoo he got in honor of his son Flynn, which originally had the 9-year-old’s name misspelled in Morse code.

“Finally dot it right! How do you make a mistake like that? #pinterestfail (read the small print) ?,” the actor, 43, captioned an Instagram shot of his new and improved ink, along with an additional new tattoo tribute to his late dog, Sidi.

Hungarian tattoo artist Balazs Bercsenyi, who created Bloom’s design, also shared an update on his account. “Round 2 with @orlandobloom + we added the missing dot to the morse code, and did a small one in memory of Sidi, his dog + conclusion: never fully trust what your clients find on pinterest ?,” he wrote. “Life is officially back to normal.”

After Bloom initially showed off his tattoo on Tuesday, fans quickly pointed out that the design was short one dot, thus spelling out F-R-Y-N-N instead of F-L-Y-N-N.

“Babe you spelled it wrong,” one commenter wrote at the time, while another said, “sir i’m sorry but that tattoo most definitely says ‘frynn.’”

The tattoo also includes the date and time of Flynn’s birth: Jan. 6, 2011, at 9:03 a.m. Bloom, who’s currently engaged to Katy Perry, shares his son with ex Miranda Kerr.
