Prince George’s ‘adorable’ way of keeping up with Kate and William on royal tour

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge embarked on a royal tour of the Caribbean last week, and one person who has been eager to follow the pair's trip is their eldest son, Prince George.

Prince William, 39, and Kate, 40, visited Belize and Jamaica before jetting to The Bahamas for their final stop on their eight-day tour, which they are completing on behalf of Queen Elizabeth to celebrate her historic Platinum Jubilee.

The couple's three children, Prince George, eight, Princess Charlotte, six, and three year old Prince Louis, are undoubtedly missing their parents, but they've found an adorable way to keep track of their whereabouts while they're away.

Doting dad Prince William revealed his children have been keeping up to date with his and Kate's whereabouts – and it's all down to Prince George.

He explained that George has been placing pins onto a world map, marking out each of the destinations his parents have visited, and then updating his younger siblings Charlotte and Louis.

At a reception on Monday, Prince William said: "We let them know where we are and he finds us on the map and puts a pin in it and shares with the others."

However, George won't be waiting much longer to see his parents, who are currently completing their final stop on the Caribbean tour.

Prince William and Kate arrived at Lynden Pindling International Airport in Nassau on Thursday 24 March.

Stepping off the plane, mum of three Kate wore a turquoise long-sleeved Emilia Wickstead dress with stunning collar detailing, paired with nude court shoes and her brunette locks swept up into a high ponytail.

Kate took inspiration from the flag of The Bahamas, while Prince William looked smart in a navy suit with a crisp white shirt and matching blue tie.

Once they'd arrived, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge excitedly took to Twitter, writing: "The Bahamas, excited to be here for the latest leg of our Caribbean tour."

The couple then met with the country's Prime Minister Philip Davis and his wife Ann-Marie Davis.

Kate and William then headed back out this morning, and visited Sybil Strachan Primary School in Nassau where they dropped in on a class to meet students and staff before joining morning assembly.

The royal pair got caught up in a torrential downpour as they made their way to the school, and jokingly apologised for “bringing England’s rain with us”.
