Shoppers are raving about bed sheets from Dunelm that are "warmer than electric blankets" as freezing temperatures settle in.
The Teddy Bear Fitted Sheet range is available in two depths, 28cm and 32cm, and comes in various sizes – single, small double, double, kingsize and super kingsize.
The sheet ranges in price from £11 to £17 dependant on size and is made from "soft, textured teddy fabric".
It comes in a whopping 25 colours including cream, charcoal, teal, blush pink, warm sand, folkstone blue and sage.
What's more, it's also made from recycled polyester from waste, like plastic bottles or manufacturing off-cuts, reducing the amount of waste ending up in landfill.
Dunelm has described the sheet, saying: "Ideal for keeping you cosy during the colder months, this fitted sheet is fashioned from our gorgeously soft, textured teddy fabric and is part of our luxurious Teddy Bear range."
The product has garnered more than more than 1,500 five star reviews from happy customers.
One shopper wrote: "These sheets are so warm and delicious. I bought two – one in cerise and one purple. They fit bed lovely and don't move. I struggle to get up in the morning as I am so cosy…like a bug in a rug. Get them… happy happy.
A second said: "Love this bedding. It's like a hug, no longer need electric blanket. Originally bought one single bed set ,now all four bedrooms have them."
Another person agreed, saying: "It’s like heaven getting into bed with Teddy Bear sheets no more waiting to warm up no need for electric blankets so helping economically too."
One person penned: "Buy these every year. They’re so warm and cosy. Whole family use them. Better than others that you see in shops. Would definitely recommend."
However, one person was less satisfied with their purchase. They said: "I bought a claret teddy sheet and put it on today. My bed is a standard super king but to my dismay the sheet won’t stay over the top corner of the mattress. It’s just too short. I noticed when making up the bed that the sheet doesn’t even go over the unopened edge.
"I always put the bottom of the sheet on first but I certainly didn’t put too much sheet under the bottom edge. I’m gutted as the sheet is so soft and warm but it’s no use if it keeps springing off the top corner. A total waste of money."
Dunelm's Teddy Bear range also features duvets and blankets.
John Lewis is also offering a similar item with their own brand Synthetic Soft Touch Washable Dual Layer Deep Mattress Topper from £85 – £130. As well as The Range who are selling a 5 Star Australian Wool Topper which is available from £67.99 for a double.
