Snoop Dogg alleges a woman who claims he sexually assaulted her is attempting “a shameful self-enrichment shakedown scheme” ahead of the Super Bowl.
As he prepares to perform in the Super Bowl halftime show, the rapper is hitting back at his accuser, who alleges he and his associate Bishop Don “Magic” Juan sexually assaulted her in 2013 when she was working as a dancer.
Snoop — whose real name is Calvin Broadus — insists he has never had any sexual encounter with the complainant, who has filed under the name Jane Doe and is asking for $10 million.
A spokesperson for Snoop, 50, exclusively told Page Six on Friday, “The allegations … of sexual assault by Calvin Broadus (known as Snoop Dogg), are simply meritless.
“They appear to be part of a self-enrichment shakedown scheme by [Jane Doe] to extort Snoop Dogg right before he performs during this Sunday’s Super Bowl halftime show.
“[Her] scheme involves concocting a legal complaint as an anonymous ‘Jane Doe’ plaintiff, and, knowing full well it can be a public document, filing this complaint late Wednesday, only three days before the Super Bowl.
“In the complaint, [she] manufactures an occurrence of more than 8 years ago, in 2013, for her false allegations.”
The rep continued, “To be clear, Mr. Broadus has never has had any sexual encounter whatsoever with [the plaintiff].
“[Her] shakedown scheme is disgraceful. Her attempt to use the courts to advance this scheme is shameful too, and does a disservice to real victims who deserve to be believed.”
The woman claimed in the lawsuit that she was assaulted by both men after accepting a ride home from Juan, né Donald Campbell, following a Snoop concert in Anaheim, Calif.
The accuser claimed in her suit that she fell asleep in the car and woke up to find that she had been taken to Campbell’s home.
She alleged she went inside to sleep because she was “exhausted,” but woke up at 4 a.m. when Campbell had “removed his penis from his pants” and “repeatedly shoved his penis into [her] mouth,” according to her complaint.
The woman claimed Campbell then told her to join Snoop in his recording studio where he was filming his show “Snoop Dogg’s Double G News Network.” She claimed Snoop wanted her to be “his weather girl,” so she went “in hopes of advancing her career,” she states in the filing.
The plaintiff then stated in her lawsuit that she went to the bathroom in the studio when Snoop allegedly walked in, “standing with his crotch in [her] face, while [she] was defecating on the toilet.” He then allegedly closed the door and forced her to perform oral sex on him.
“After a few minutes, defendant Snoop Dogg withdrew his penis from plaintiff’s mouth, visibly unsatisfied with plaintiff’s reluctance and disgust of being forced to engage in oral sex,” alleged the suit, filed in California federal court.
The woman claimed Snoop “proceeded to masturbate and ejaculated on [her] upper chest and lower neck” before allegedly telling her, “I’ll get you something to clean up with.” She said he never returned and she was left “humiliated, terrified and panicked.”
She adds she cleaned herself up in the bathroom, and then walked back into the studio, where Campbell took a picture of her and Snoop before escorting her out.
Her lawsuit states all sides had agreed to resolve the dispute through a private mediation on February 8 and 9 this year but it was unsuccessful.
Snoop then posted an image to his Instagram Wednesday that appeared to label the woman a “gold digger.”
Her lawyer, Matt Finkelberg, told Rolling Stone that Snoop’s Instagram post was “obviously threatening” against his client. Finkelberg didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment on Friday. Reps for Campbell could not be located.
Snoop was previously sued for sexual assault in 2005 by makeup artist Kylie Bell, but she backed out after the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” rapper countersued her for extortion. She then dropped her case, saying the matter had been “resolved amicably.”
