So… Here's What Astrology Says About What's Gonna Happen in 2021

It’s true: Astrologers did warn us about 2020. Aaand now they’re warning
us about 2021—but don’t worry, they’re also providing legit helpful advice. We asked five ~cosmic interpreters~ five big questions about what to expect. Here’s what they said. (Now if you’ll excuse us, we’ll be over here breathing into a paper bag.)

How’s love looking? Can I start planning an IRL wedding? Or at least an IRL date?

Okay, so Saturn, planet of commitment, is in revolutionary Aquarius for the entire year, meaning we need to get even more creative about how we couple up. Aka it’s time to think out-side of Zoom, like with a (post-negative-COVID-19-test) socially distanced road trip, virtual concert, or phone sex. BTW, big days for romance are January 28 and May 17.

What about money? That $1,200 pandemic check didn’t last long….

Free financial tip: Save up in the beginning of the year. After a long retrograde (ew) in Aries, Mars enters Taurus on January 6, helping you focus on your bank account until March 3. Related: Venus dips into ambitious Capricorn from January 8 to February 1, which is v good news for promotions and new jobs. But global economic recovery won’t arrive until Jupiter enters Pisces on December 28 (yes, next December).

I almost hate to ask, but what about U.S. politics?

Inauguration season will be INTENSE, thanks to feverish energy from Mars’ connections with Saturn and Uranus in January. People will speak out, loudly, about what they think is right. In fact, 2021 is all about activism, with Saturn, planet of structure, and Uranus, planet of revolution, squaring off three times (on February 17, June 14, and December 24).

Pls be honest: Is there any chance that 2021 will be even more of a trash fire than 2020?

Maybe?? 2020 had once-in-a-lifetime astrology—but it was all leading up to the United States’ Pluto Return on February 20, 2022. (What, you didn’t know that countries have birth charts? They do, and a Pluto Return is a BFD.) This year, we can expect more social unrest, climate crises, and tech breakdowns. Sounds scary, I know, but you’ll be part of the next chapter—and that’s a good thing.

Omfg, will there be any just plain good news next year (PLEASE)?

Yes! Jupiter will move into one of its fave signs, Pisces, on May 13, giving us a chance to heal emotionally and grow after the trauma we’ve been through. Get your self-care ready for spring.
