Felicity Huffman and William H. Macy have reason to celebrate now that Huffman's jail time is over and her involvement in 2019's college admissions scandal seems to be wiped from most people's memories. According to People, the Hollywood couple's daughter, Sophia, will star in an episode of The Twilight Zone's second season on CBS All Access.
Last year, Huffman pleaded guilty to paying admissions consultant Rick Singer $15,000 to change Sophia's SAT answers after she'd taken the standardized test. Huffman served 11 days at the Federal Correctional Institution in Dublin, California, and was released two days early. Currently, she is serving her required 250 hours of community service hours at the Teen Project in Los Angeles, a rehab center that helps formerly homeless women earn their GEDs. Huffman and her other daughter, Georgia, have been volunteering at the center for over two years.
In a statement released by CBS, the network announced that Sophia would star in a Twilight Zone episode called "Among The Untrodden." No further details were given about the episode's plot, but for Huffman's sake, here's hoping that it's not a pulled-from-the headlines retelling of the college admissions scandal. People adds that CBS also announced that the second season would also include "Morena Baccarin, Colman Domingo, Ethan Embry, Jenna Elfman, Tavi Gevinson, Tony Hale, Gillian Jacobs, Joel McHale, Christopher Meloni, Billy Porter, Jimmi Simpson, and Daniel Sunjata." Jordan Peele and Simon Kinberg, who reimagined the cult classic 1959 series, will release 10 episodes for the show's second streaming season.
Last December, Georgia announced that she would be attending Vassar University this fall. Lori Loughlin, the other big name in the college admissions scandal, is still waiting to be sentenced for the $500,000 she allegedly paid to have her two daughters appear to be rowers to gain admission to USC.
