Neighbours’ Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) has dealt Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou) some low blows since their split but getting with her mum is up there with the worst.
He is rubbing his hands with glee as he continues to trash Terese and Estelle’s relationship. He’s hellbent on causing Terese as much distress as possible and it’s working.
She discovers her mum Estelle is still seeing Paul despite Terese putting the kibosh on it, and her reaction is a strong one – she tells Estelle to get out, she’s done. Estelle tries to protest but it’s no good. She is once again homeless and penniless. With few options, Estelle decides to turn to the one person Terese can’t bear.
It’s Paul Estelle turns to in her time of need as she thinks there might actually be something between them. As she tries to get closer to her daughter’s ex, she surprises them both by planting a huge kiss on him. Paul is totally taken aback; this had all been fun and games for him, he had no idea things were getting serious for Estelle. So now on top of trying to make Terese’s life hell, he has to contend with a lovelorn Estelle.
And then reality hits the Robinson – he realises that if Estelle has come running to him, Terese has washed her hands of her. That means he can no longer get at Terese through her mother. With that in mind, Estelle is useless to him now and he kicks her to the curb. Estelle is gutted and is back to being homeless and skint.
She crawls back to Terese and begs for another chance, but Terese is resolute. She refuses to let her back into her life. Has Estelle ruined their relationship for good?
Scenes air from Monday June 6 on Channel 5.
