The Castle From Downton Abbey Is Listed on Airbnb, So You Can Really Live Like a Crawley
You don’t have to be born royal to live like one. Well, at least not according to one of Airbnb’s newest listings. Just ahead of the release of the long-awaited Downton Abbey movie, Airbnb is giving fans of the beloved series a chance to stay in the real-life castle featured on the show.
Highclere Castle is available for guests to book in groups of two for one night only. During their stay in the 300-room home, guests will enjoy “an exclusive evening drinking cocktails in the Saloon followed by a traditional dinner with the Earl and Countess of Carnarvon in the State Dining Room, being waited on by Highclere Castle’s own butler,” according to the listing. Guests will also be served breakfast and given a tour of the property before departing the next day.
The space — which, FYI, doesn’t include WiFi — is available to book for just $159 for the night of Nov. 26. Reservations will officially open up on Oct. 1 at 12 pm BST (7 am ET) on a first-come, first-served basis. Read ahead to check out a few photos of the castle before booking your stay.
