Woman mortified after co-worker steals ultrasound snap to prank her ex-boyfriend

A woman was left mortified after a colleague stole her ultrasound to send to her ex-boyfriend in a bid to "fool him".

The mum-to-be expressed her fury after sharing an image of her exciting news with a group chat including her co-worker.

But when she shared the sonogram on the chat, one of her co-workers decided to take the image and use it for something else.

She wanted to "fool her ex-boyfriend", who she broke up with a few weeks ago, by sending him an ultrasound pretending it's hers.

However, the expectant mum wasn't impressed by her colleague's actions so she took to Reddit to express her feelings.

She said: "I never wanted my sonogram on the internet. I don't have Facebook or Instagram or anything like that."

The woman added: "I feel uncomfortable that it's out there without me being able to control the audience of who is looking at it.

"Also, this seems like an extremely cruel trick to play on someone, and she used my sonogram as a prop for this mean joke."

When she explained the matter to her colleague, she didn't seem to understand.

The mum-to-be continued: "She said I was being 'dramatic' and I am just looking for something to be upset over."

Her co-worker defended her actions and said that she had covered up any identifying information on the sonogram.

She also told her that she revealed the truth to her ex after a few hours when she "made him sweat for a bit".

Since it was shared on Reddit, around 500 comments were left under the woman's post saying the prank was "horrible".

One wrote: "Yeah you're definitely not the a**hole here. At all. Nor are you being 'dramatic'."
