Woman posts ‘realistic’ transformation after giving birth – but is trolled

A woman has revealed her ‘realistic’ 18 month postpartum body transformation – but has received some cruel remarks about her figure from trolls.

Brie, who posts under the name @goldenmamabrieplus3, recently shared how much her body has changed since giving birth to three children.

The mum had one child in her first pregnancy and then had twins with her second.

Since giving birth, Brie decided to document how much her tum has changed in her postpartum journey – and since gone viral on TikTok.

In a clip that has now racked up 5.4 million views, the influencer showed her pregnant belly when she was carrying the single child and then her pair of twins.

Next, the mum of three revealed what her tum looked like two weeks postpartum.

Brie’s belly shrunk significantly after having twins – but a bump was still visible as she pulled her grey top up to showcase it.

She also had a linea nigra, which is the dark vertical line many pregnant women get on the stomachs.

The mum then showed what her belly looked like three months postpartum.

Brie’s bump had lessened and at this point she started to get loose skin from where her belly stretched while pregnant. The dark line on her tum also became more faint.

At six months, Brie’s tummy was flatter but she still had some loose skin and stretch marks from her expecting her tots.

And at 10 months postpartum, the mum laid down on her bed as she pulled her stretchy loose skin on her stomach.

Fast forward to now, Brie is 18 months postpartum and certainly looks quite different from when her ‘healing’ journey first started.

As she smiled, Brie pulled up her navy blue hoodie and leggings as she revealed her tum is a lot flatter and her waist is more cinched.

While she still had some loose skin, her linea nigra had also faded significantly.

She captioned the clip with a body positive message: “Your postpartum healing journey might look different from mine and that’s okay. What I want you to understand if you're not alone mama. My body changed too.”

Thankful for Brie sharing her journey, many people fled to the comments to praise the mum for her ‘realistic’ transformation.

One person commented: “I appreciate seeing this, it’s nice to get a realistic view of how their body heals post partum, beautiful.”

Another user added: “This is normal.”

While a third person praised: “Still so gorgeous. You’re incredible!”

Someone else voiced: “Omg my stomach is the 3 months postpartum. Love seeing videos of others, makes me feel like I’m not alone in this. You look amazing!”

Meanwhile, a fifth person applauded: “You did that mama!! Thank you for showing this, it will definitely boost mums that share the same things.”

Despite the monumental praise Brie received about her postpartum journey, the mum received some cruel trolling about her tum.

Some online users even went as far to say the reason they do not want kids is because of the fear of having a similar postpartum figure.

One troll said: “I’m never getting kids.”

This person cruelly remarked: “Daily dose of birth control.”

Another wrote: “Adding this to the list of reasons not to have kids.”

And, this troll said: “Yea I’m not messing my body up for no kids, you're gorgeous tho boo.”

However, many others rushed to hit back at the trolls to defend Brie from the nasty comments.

One person defended: "I don't know why people would comment ‘another reason not to have kids’ under a video made to show people to embrace their bodies. Y’all can never read the room.”

A second user supported: “You are beautiful either way, I genuinely mean that. So sick of all these backhanded compliments under pregnancy posts”
