ANOTHER country in the EU has lifted their travel restrictions for Brits, making it even easier for holidaymakers to visit.
Lithuania is now allowing UK arrivals who are fully vaccinated to enter the country without having to quarantine on arrival.
Previous rules required anyone entering the country to self-isolate even if they had both jabs.
Now, anyone aged 16 and over can enter Lithuania without having to do this if they are fully vaccinated.
Anyone who has proof of recovery or has a negative PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before can also skip the quarantine on arrival.
While the government recommends all arrivals to take a PCR or lateral flow before entering the country, this is not mandatory.
National tourism agency Lithuania Travel said: “This decision taken by the Lithuanian government follows the recommendations of the World Health Organisation to lift or ease travel restrictions, as prolonged strict Covid-19 measures can potentially cause economic and social harm.
“After implementing these changes, Lithuania remains one of the most open European countries regarding international travel.”
Lithuania is a great budget-friendly holiday open, with one travel influencer spending just £42 on flights and three nights at a hotel.
Lots of countries have been scrapping their travel restrictions in recent weeks.
