DISNEY fans can finally hug Mickey Mouse for the first time in over two years at Disney's global theme parks.
Until now, hugs were banned since Disney World reopened in 2020 after the first wave of the pandemic, and character meet and greets have all been socially distanced.
In a new clip shared to the official Disney Parks social media accounts, Mickey Mouse can be seen hugging several emotional Disney employees – known as Cast Members.
Fans flocked to comment on the video, with one saying: "Mickey knows how much he is loved and how much he means to all of us.
"He knows we've waited for this day for two long years and he always has nothing but love to share."
Another Disney fanatic put: "I can really tell that these Cast Members were really excited to give Mickey Mouse a big hug for the first time in two years."

The video was captioned: "The moment we've all been waiting for is here."
Shawn Slater, Senior Communications Manager at Disney Live Entertainment, said: "You will once again be able to hug Mickey Mouse, get an autograph from Mulan, and share a laugh with Goofy.
"We know many of you have missed these special moments, and your Disney character friends have missed you, too!
"During the past tow years, we've taken a very gradual, intentional approach to health and safety protocols. Recent trends and guidance have provided opportunities for us to bring back some of our most beloved magic, like character greetings and dining experiences.
"While not all locations will be available immediately, we anticipate reopening in phases throughout the spring and early summer."
