ESSEX boy Mark Wright has shared his holiday must-haves, dream destinations and travelling tips – including the one big travel mistake he always makes.

We caught up with the radio presenter and former TOWIE star to talk all things holiday.

What's your favourite thing about going on holiday?

Who doesn't love a holiday? I live for mine and always count down to the next time I'm going away.

When you're on holiday, you don't think about the real world and the stresses – you can just enjoy yourself with your loved ones and do the things you've been dreaming about.

The moments you have on holiday are the moments you work towards.

I think in the last two years everyone's got into this habit where we couldn't go away and now people don't want to go away, but it's so important.

Two holidays a year is nice, but as long as you get away once and clear your head, it can give you that drive to keep moving forward when you come back home.

Where is your all-time favourite holiday hotspot?

I love to go to Majorca – it is so beautiful and my absolute favourite part of Spain.

There are lovely restaurants and gorgeous beaches and it feels like you're in the Caribbean.

I've been loads of times. I go there at least once a year and sometimes two or three times.

What's your bucket list destination?

It's got to be Las Vegas – everyone should go there once in their lifetime.

It's just everything you imagine it will be and more. You can see the strip when you're coming into land which is so exciting.

You're almost in awe that you're there because it's so outrageous. The hotels are incredible and there's so much to do.

It's just an amazing place and so much fun.

What are your holiday must haves?

I don't normally like to carry a man bag but I always take one whenever I go on holiday.

You need to take quite a lot of stuff with you when you go out, like your suncream, lip balm and shades, and it's easier to have it with you otherwise I always lose stuff in my missus' bag.

What's your best travel tip?

Always use your luggage allowance. The amount of times I've been caught out because I haven't taken something I needed is huge.

On my last holiday in Mexico I was wearing t-shirts and found out when I arrived that you needed a collared shirt to go into the restaurants.

Luckily I had taken enough but it's silly to waste some luggage space if you've got it.

What mistake do you always make when you're going abroad?

I never pack early enough. I'm always late to the airport because I am still packing so I always ruin the morning of the flight.

It also means I end up under packing and don't use up all my luggage space which is such a waste.
