A HOLIDAY abroad might prove difficult this year, but this doesn't mean a staycation isn't possible.
Brits will be looking for a trip around the country when the lockdown is over.
According to a study conducted by the The National Caravan Council (NCC) sixty-four percent of people said they are likely to take trips in the UK next year, compared to just 38 per cent before coronavirus.
The study also found that 70 per cent of UK adults said they perceive a holiday caravan-based UK break as a socially acceptable activity, along with 77 per cent admitting the same for motor-homing.
While the UK lockdown is still in place, prohibiting non-essential travel, this could be lifted before the summer holidays.
Locations across the UK, such as seaside resorts in Cornwall or road trips around the Scottish isles will be on the menu this year.
