As a Serious No-Makeup Makeup Person, I Finally Found an Eye Shadow I Want to Wear

I am a serious no-makeup makeup person. Don’t misunderstand me, if I felt a real pull to master graphic liner or rock a bold lip, I would, but honestly, I haven’t yet. I am the type of person that has 20 lip glosses that are all variations of the same shade, close to my natural lip color. You get the picture. My consistent makeup look consists of clean, dewy skin, a great mascara, concealer to cover up any spots, and liquid blush. But, I occasionally leave my house at night, and when I do, I want a little something extra. I love a sparkly eye, but finding the right shade that’s pretty and fun without overwhelming me was proving to be a challenge, until I was introduced to the Kosas 10-Second Eyeshadow.

The shade I use is called Globe; it is described as a neutral champagne, which is exactly the type of thing I’m into. The formula is liquid, so you shake up the tube for about, you guessed it, 10 seconds, and then use the doe foot applicator to apply the product directly to your lids. I like to start small, and blend it out with my fingers, because it’s always easier to add more than to take some off. The color payoff is pretty remarkable, and it has lots of shimmer but doesn’t feel like a disco ball, which is ideal for me. It’s super comfortable on my lids, and application is pretty much fool proof. I can throw it on and walk out the door feeling that much more confident, which to me, is priceless.
