OK, Who Taught Jimmy Kimmel's 5-Year-Old Daughter How to Apply False Lashes Like a Pro?

When it comes to makeup, without a doubt one of the hardest skills to master is applying false eyelashes. Too much glue and it’s a mess, too little glue and they’re falling off. Buy them too long and they’re poking your eyes, cut them too short you look like a porcelain doll. Needless to say, there is a lot required to make a set look good.

But false lashes are no match for Jimmy Kimmel’s 5-year-old daughter Jane, who seems to be able to apply them without any hesitation. In honor of “Take Your Kid to Work Day” (which was supposed to be on April 23), Jane gave her dad a “girl” makeover for the latest episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live From His House.

First step in the rainbow look — and how all good makeup tutorials start — was the eyeshadow, which she applied with what looks like the dual-ended Urban Decay brush. This was followed by a generous dose of bronzer (accurately displaying the amount we’re dusting on during lockdown), which she applied using both a stippling brush and her fingers, because blending is of utmost importance, and Jane knows this. Next up, was a Westman Atelier blush, because girl’s got taste. And finally, for the main event — the rainbow false eyelashes, which she flawlessly stuck on with the amount of skill and confidence we’ve been trying to master for years.

The outcome was even better than expected and one thing is for sure, Jane has a very bright future as a makeup artist.
