A look at Robbie Williams' WILD sex life

From drug dealer romps, pop (and porn!) star passions and a one-night-stand addiction… to sexless marriage! A look at Robbie Williams’ WILD sex life before finding love with Ayda Field

Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Field have spoken at length about their sex lives – holding back no details from their tickled fans.

Charting their romance from the very beginning, the once hard-partying pop star has spoken about the fact that he had sex with his drug dealer on the night he met his wife – as well as revealing he was ‘addicted to having sex with strangers’.

In the heady heyday of his hedonistic days, which ultimately led to a drink and drug addiction, Robbie revealed he ‘begged’ a porn star for sex while also telling lies, and some truths, about his moments of passion with Nineties pop starlets.

While his sexcapades have been well-documented, the couple have now admitted their marriage is  sexless – stating that fact having kids – Theodora, 10, Charlton, eight, Colette, four, and Beau, three – has changed their bedroom antics to zero.

So what do we know about Robbie’s sex life?

THE ADDICTION DAYS

Robbie has previously spoken about what his love life entailed at the height of his addiction to alcohol and hard drugs.

He rose to fame back in 1990 aged just 16 with boyband Take That, before quitting six years later and launching a wildly successful solo career.

Thanks to his boy band heartthrob status, Robbie managed to knock up a slew of notches on his bed post, with all hosts of women, including his drug dealer.

Robbie revealed that on the night he met Ayda, he had just had sex with his drug dealer, who had just dropped off his stash.

In 2019, Robbie told You magazine: ‘My drug dealer had just left, I’d slept with her and she’d left me a bag of drugs.’

Ayda called him out for the shocking act on their podcast At Home With The Williamses in December 2020 – revealing the inoppurtune moment.

She said: ‘You had just f***ed your dealer, who had just dropped off drugs, before our first date. Romantic’. A sheepish Robbie replied to his understanding wife: ‘Yes. In people’s minds, dealers are usually men, but she wasn’t.’

PORN STAR HOOK UPS

In his 2004 autobiography Feel, Robbie revealed he used to prowl strip clubs for sex.

He revealed that his quest for sex went as far as him begging a porn star for sex while filming a pop video. In the shocking tome, he wrote: ‘The t*tty monster gets on my shoulder. I need to take her home and f*** her.’

Explaining  his guilt after and the mistreatment, he added: ‘Then I do. And then I feel genuinely sorry for her predicament.’

The video featuring porn stars was for his 2003 hit Come Undone, which was directed by Jonas Åkerlund and saw Robbie waking up and going through his evening with flashbacks – including a moment having a three some with porn stars.

SEX WITH STRANGERS

On the vast quantity of women he romped, Robbie explained that he was ‘addicted’ to having sex with strangers – something Ayda also commented on.

In 2017, Robbie explained how his life had changed, saying: ‘It’s interesting, having a wife now and being the guy that I was…

‘The sort of faders you have to turn up and down. It’s like, there’s the ‘sex with strangers’ fader, turn that one down. Which one can we turn up? Cake! More cake and carbohydrates.’

On his past addiction, he said: ‘My thing in the 90s was sex with strangers…

‘I didn’t know whether I’d be able to give that up. I was saying to her last night, it’s really special that we’re around a lot of really good looking people, all the way through the summer – and I feel no longing to be up to the nefarious stuff…

‘She’s really empathetic, really kind, incredibly smart and very, very funny – and I trust her. The thing with sex with other people is very much like cocaine. I’m not looking for cocaine any more and therefore I don’t find it.’

THE FAMOUS EXES

Proof of his love of a famous woman, Robbie revealed: ‘ ‘Ayda says that every time we turn on the TV there’s a woman I’ve slept with, and it’s true. Luckily she has a great sense of humour. What happened before we met doesn’t interest her.’

The singer had many high-profile romances over the years, dating Melanie C, Geri Horner, Ayda Field, Lindsay Lohan and Nicole Appleton.

His relationship with Mel C was just one month long in 1997 and while she admitted to the union, she was insistent they were never intimate.

Robbie’s romance with Geri meanwhile was seemingly more passionate. He revealed on The Graham Norton Show that he once smuggled Geri out of his London flat in a holdall, to trick paparazzi who were desperate to get a glimpse of the couple.

He then made a joke about bedding the four members of the band – something he later insisted was in fact just a joke.

He said: ‘I told a joke a long time ago and it sort of got out of hand. On one particular Take That tour before Back For Good, I introduced it by saying ‘I am very fortunate to have been in Take That and in four out of five of the Spice Girls.’

Mel B later said: ‘He actually apologised to me for all that mess, saying he had apparently gotten it on with all five Spice Girls – he wishes!

‘I was the one he never did. He’s a friend of mine. Yuck! He had been with my friends. I don’t want sloppy seconds.’

His lengthiest celebrity romance was with Nicole who he met on Top Of The Pops in 1997. They split up on a number of occasions before he popped the question.

Things soon turned for the duo however when Nicole fell pregnant and chose to have an abortion – which she revealed was something her record company pressured her into.

In telling Robbie about the pregnancy, she revealed: ‘He put his hands on my belly and told me ‘This baby is saving my life.’” Although her decision “tore him apart”, Robbie said he backed Nicole’s decision to talk about it in her autobiography.

THE SEXLESS MARRIAGE

Following years of wild antics, Robbie and Ayda have now revealed that sex is no more since they welcomed their brood – and they have hung up their romping pants.

The former Take That singer blamed his lack of libido on coming off testosterone injections, which had been worsening his depression.

In a joint interview, the pair insisted they’re ‘on the same page’ when it comes to intimacy and are content with their lack of bedroom activity.

Robbie told The Sun: ‘Everyone knows there is no sex after marriage…

‘That’s just the way it is. I was on testosterone for a while but, because I’m an addict, that had to stop. I got these massive square shoulders and started to look like a doorman. It wasn’t a good look…

‘But the sex we had when I was on testosterone was incredible; it was all the time. We were insatiable. It goes to show how into each other we really are, though, because when I was on it, we couldn’t take our hands off each other.

‘I miss that. That was a fun period. Sometimes now, though, Ayda will turn to me on the sofa and say, ‘We should do sex,’ and I’m sitting there eating a tangerine and just sort of shrug. So, ya know, sometimes we try.’

The actress, 43, who married her popstar partner in 2010, concluded: ‘Intimacy is the important, meaningful side of love. We’re happy.’

Amid his sex addiction, Robbie admitted his sweet greatest achievement: ‘What do I think is my greatest achievement? Monogamy. Yes, it wasn’t on the cards.’

In Feburary, he echoed the sentiments, saying: ‘I remember sex. It was something we did in the Nineties.’

Last year meanwhile, Ayda discussed how their bedroom has become more of an office-shared work space rather than a sex den.

She said: ‘It’s been obliterated by four kids. There is really no need to go to bed at the same time. It’s just a joint work space.’

On the on the Postcards From The Edge podcast, she remarked: ‘My husband sleeps with the computer. He cradles it like a security blanket. It’s the threesome we’re having. It’s me, Rob, and our leather MacBook.’

She went on to claim that Robbie is such a tech addict that he cannot let the laptop go in case he wants to use it during his irregular sleep hours.

She explained: ‘There are times when I whacked myself on the computer in the night, or he flicks it off the bed and there’s this huge, loud crash and I’m jumped.

‘Because of his addictions he can’t take sleeping pills, he can’t take anything to go to bed. I think his addiction is really technology now, you know, he will always find something.’
