Ariana Grande is reportedly dating her Wicked co-star Ethan Slater, following her split from husband Dalton Gomez.
Rumours of a split began spreading after the Thank U Next singer was seen at Wimbledon on 16 July, without her wedding ring. It was later claimed that she and Dalton have been estranged since January and are heading towards divorce.
And now a source close to Ariana has claimed that she is now dating her Wicked co-star Ethan Slater, who split from his wife Lilly Jay earlier this year.
The pair are believed to have begun dating several months ago after meeting while filming the Broadway musical's film adaptation.
A source close to the new couple told Entertainment Tonight: "Ariana and Ethan recently started dating. They have a lot in common and have a lot of fun.
"They didn't start dating until both were broken up with their significant others. Ariana and Dalton remain friends."
OK! has contacted Ariana's representatives for comment.
In March the new couple were snapped sitting next to each other at an event celebrating their co-star Michelle Yeoh's Oscar win.
The photo was shared to Instagram by Michelle, and saw the pair sat with their Wicked co-stars, including actress and singer Cynthia Erivo.
Ariana is yet to confirm her split from her real estate mogul husband, but a source close to her has told Page Six: "They came to the decision together. They were having problems before January, but they want to remain best friends."
It's thought that Dalton jetted to London to visit Ariana while she was away filming in January as a last ditch attempt to mend their broken relationship, however, the pair ultimately decided to part ways.
It was back in 2020 that Ariana and Dalton were first spotted together as they were spotted kissing after having dinner at Bar Louie in Northridge, CA.
It wasn’t until a month later, in March 2020, that press in the US were able to track down Ariana’s so-called “mystery man”, and the couple were first linked.
It was just over a year later, in May 2021, that the couple tied the knot in a secret ceremony at the pop icon’s Montecito home.
Ariana’s representative confirmed that they had made it official a few days later, saying: “They got married. It was tiny and intimate – less than 20 people. The room was so happy and full of love. The couple and both families couldn't be happier.”
