Beyoncé was missed at the Met Gala last night, but at least now we know where she was.
The superstar dropped three surprise photo dumps of snaps from her European vacation a few hours before the gala, subtly alerting us that she would not be making an appearance. However, she did give us several glamorous looks from her time on a mega yacht.
In one of the slideshows, she and Jay-Z sip from dainty white teacups on the yacht’s deck, with MTV Video Music Award winner Blue Ivy Carter appearing to hug her dad’s leg in the final shot. The “Déjà Vu” singer wears an orange-and-white gabardine romper by Rowen Rose, with added shoulder straps and a matching belt. She also sports square white sunglasses and has her wavy hair pulled back.

Bey also shared a full Valentino look composed of a white button-down, a flared black miniskirt, black stiletto heels with rose decorations at the ankles, and a cross-body bag with a gold chain-link strap. She included a snap of her personalized tag, with her name hand-sewn into the skirt. For accessories, the “Formation” singer went with a statement necklace made of gold layered circles and a pair of black cat-eye shades.

For her most glamorous look, the Ivy Park founder wore a peach-colored David Koma crystal chain wrap minidress, paired with The Attico block mules in orange and custom Philó sunglasses. She also wore a statement choker with a massive gem supported by four rows of smaller gems and carried an acrylic top-handle L’Afshar bag.

The “Crazy in Love” singer has brought out some truly glamorous accessories for her 40th birthday trip. In one look shared last week, she paired a fairly casual (but still high-fashion) look with a campy Judith Leiber clutch shaped like a cosmopolitan and covered in crystals. She wore the cosmo clutch with a feather-trimmed white button-down by Valentino, high-rise dark-indigo flared jeans, and metallic silver platform sandals by Aquazzura.
