Big Brother’s Grace Adams-Short ‘fully cringed’ watching her series back and admits she was too opinionated

E4 are celebrating Big Brother's best ever episodes in conjunction with the shows' twentieth anniversary and fans have been delighted to discover that Grace Adams-Short, 34, and Mikey Dalton, 37, are still happily married.

The pair met in the house during the show's seventh series in 2006 and 14 years on, the pair are still married and share three children; Georgiana, Spencer and Allegra together.

After highlights from her series were aired on Tuesday night, Grace took to Instagram to admit that watching herself back made her "fully cringe".

She also admitted that as a young 20 year old, she was too opinionated and had “too much to say."

Alongside a gorgeous selfie, Grace wrote: “I just want to say a huge thank you for all the lovely messages I’ve had about Mikey and I and our family.

“14 years ago at 20 years old I decided to go on Big Brother for a bit of fun for the summer I never thought i would of found my future husband !!

“Yes I was opinionated and had far too much to say (I don’t think this has really changed if you ask Mikey)


“3 kids later we are so close and happy and truly grateful for what we have. I hope the re runs of the show has given everyone some light relief and good old fashioned reality tv during lockdown.

“although I fully cringed last night watching the show and wish someone had introduced me to eyebrow tint and hair dye back then – something I’m well accustomed to now living In Liverpool.

“just wanted to say thanks again xx @bbuk @mikeydaltonuk @e4grams #marriedlife #mumto3 #londongirlinliverpool.” [sic]

Previously reminiscing on her time in the spotlight, Grace said: "I absolutely loved every second of it from the audition rounds to all the amazing opportunities that came after the show.

"The highlight really was meeting my husband, the daddy of our three munchkins.

"Mikey has said that there was an immediate attraction and I thought, 'wow this will be a fantastic summer'.

"It was kind of like a holiday romance. We just enjoyed it really and everything we did since then has felt right for us," she continued to tell The Sun Online.

After leaving the Borehamwood mansion – where Grace was evicted fourth and Mikey left the house in 11th place – the pair bought a house in London, as well as one in Mikey's native Liverpool.

She also set up a performing arts company with school across the country, which she sold last year for over a million pounds.
