BTS' Jin Wasn't in Disney's 'Zootopia' — but 1 'Run BTS' Proves He Should've Been

If Jin wasn’t in the K-pop group BTS, he shared that he would probably be an actor. One Run BTS challenge proved just how talented this singer and dancer is at voice-overs.

The BTS members are award-winning musicians, releasing songs like “Dynamite” and “Life Goes On.” These performers also star in several web shows, including the V Live variety show, titled Run BTS, where the idols compete in several challenges.

One episode of this series involved the BTS members voicing several beloved Disney characters, like Woody and Buzz from Toy Story, Scar from The Lion King, as well as the unlikely duo of Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps from Zootopia.

Jin hasn’t officially voiced a Disney character, but he did unofficially for one episode of Run BTS. The BTS members took turns doing voiceovers for classic Disney films. That includes the animated film, The Lion King, where Jin voiced a hyena.

The last movie they voiced over was Zootopia, where Jin portrayed the fox named Nick Wilde. His goal was to get a sloth to move as slowly as possible.

With members like Jungkook and J-Hope as the other characters, fans took to social media, sharing their love for this challenge. This wouldn’t be the first time the BTS members acted for Run BTS. Sometimes, the members perform skits while on stage.

If he wasn’t in BTS, Jin would be an actor

Although Jin and the other BTS members haven’t officially been in a Disney movie, they did partner with this studio for the Disney Holiday Singalong. When ARMYs learned of Disney’s upcoming live-action adaptation of The Little Mermaid, some took to Twitter.

They wrote of BTS’ “Resident Prince Charming,” Jimin, and how he should portray Prince Eric. Jin currently does not have any acting plans lined up. He does, however, have an IMDb page, thanks to his work with BTS and their music videos.

While on The Late Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the BTS members took turns discussed their alternative career plans. Suga said if he wasn’t in BTS, he would still be a songwriter or producer.

If RM wasn’t in BTS, he would most likely be a businessman. Jin shared that he would be an actor and even did his best impersonation of Macaulay Culkin in Home Alone.

As one of the singers and dancers in this K-pop group, Jin appears on BTS tracks like “Boy With Luv,” “The Truth Untold,” and “Life Goes On.” Outside of his work with the boy band, Jin also releases solo music, like the 2020 song, “Abyss,” available on YouTube.
