Samantha Womack has reportedly found love again after revealing her split from husband Mark last year.

The former EastEnders star, 48, is said to have began dating former Coronation Street actor Oliver Farnworth, 38 reports claim.

Samantha, who played Ronnie Mitchell on the BBC soap, is reported to have “grown close” to Oliver, who played Andy Carver on the cobbles, after the pair appeared onstage together in the 2019 adaption of The Girl On The Train.

A source has told The Sun Online: “Samantha’s chemistry with Oliver was clear to see on stage and they remained close after the production.

“They couldn’t be happier and have loved dating away from the public eye.

“They’ve met each other’s families and it all feels very natural. They’re totally smitten with each other.

“Plus her ex Mark is happy for her too. It’s all very grown-up and modern.”

OK! has contacted representatives for Samantha and Mark for comment.

It comes after Samantha exclusively opened up on her split from husband Mark in an exclusive interview with OK! last year.

The actress explained in August last year how she and husband Mark continued to live together despite ending their relationship.

Samantha shares son Benjamin, 20, and 16 year old Lily with ex Mark and was also step mum to Mark’s son Michael, 26, from a previous relationship.

She explained how she and Mark decided to part ways two years before going public about their split.

Actress Samantha said in August last year: “Mark and I have always been great friends and have raised a family for 19 years.

“But we both realised about three or four years ago that we wanted different things from the next chapter of our lives and we actually made the decision to end our marriage two years ago.

“I’m a bit more out there and love camping and the idea of living off grid. Mark is quieter than me and just wanted a quiet life.

“We’re both actors and tour a lot so we spent a lot of time away from each other. We suddenly realised that when we came back together to spend time with the family, we wanted to do different things.

“I think for a long time we felt guilty about this and just didn’t communicate. And then about two years ago, I brought up how different we’d both become and Mark said it was something we really needed to think about and consider.”
