Foo Fighters‘ ’90s classic “Everlong” has reached Billboard‘s Hot Rock & Alternative Songs, Hot Alternative Songs and Hot Hard Rock Songs charts for the first time, driven by the live performance of the song with 11-year-old internet sensation Nandi Bushell.
“Everlong” debuted at No. 19 on the September 11-dated Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart. It also bowed at No. 2 on Hot Hard Rock Songs and No. 17 on Hot Alternative Songs.
According to Billboard, older titles are eligible to appear on Hot Rock & Alternative Songs, and its genre breakout charts, if ranking in the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart’s top 25 and are experiencing notable resurgences. Hot Rock & Alternative Songs began in 2009, while the latter two lists were launched in 2020.
“Everlong” recorded 2.6 million U.S. streams, up 4%, according to MRC Data, for the August 27-September 2 tracking week. Additionally, it sold 1,000 downloads, a spike of 150%.
