Gigi Hadid Revealed She Voted with Her Daughter "Next to Me"

Like many celebrities, Gigi Hadid is encouraging her fans to vote in the 2020 presidential election, and she shared the sweet reason why she's voting this year.

On Saturday, the supermodel revealed that she cast her ballot with her daughter by her side. "I voted absentee last week with my daughter next to me, for an America I want her to see," she captioned a mirror selfie of herself wearing a graphic tee with the word "Vote" printed in color-block letters on the front. The new mom continued, "But not just for us — for fellow Americans that are less privileged, with hope for a nation that is unified, that is empathetic, & for a leader that is compassionate."

Gigi also included information about voting deadlines in each state and the different ways to make sure everyone's voice is heard. "Whatever your PLAN, I'm proud of you; make sure you have one!" she concluded her post.

Last month, Gigi and Zayn Malik welcomed their first child together, and shortly after her arrival, the 25-year-old adorably revealed that she has "already changed our world." "Our girl joined us earth-side this weekend and she’s already changed our world. So in love," Hadid announced on Instagram at the time.

E! previously reported that Gigi, Zayn, and the new baby are living at the Hadid family farm in Pennsylvania, where grandmother Yolanda is acting as the couple's live-in nanny. "They feel peaceful staying there for now," a source explained to the outlet. "Gigi wants the most privacy for their baby and wants to be able to raise her privately."
