Happy Valley star James Norton’s cheekbones are the star of the show at celeb party

Happy Valley actor James Norton posed up a storm last night (Thursday 2 February) as he enjoyed a star-studded night out in London ahead of the highly anticipated show finale on Sunday.

James, 37, attended the launch of the Breitling Six Nations collection alongside a host of other famous faces, but it was the man of the moment himself who seemed to garner the most attention.

Wearing a black unbuttoned jacket over a white t-shirt, James looked confident with his hand in his pockets as he smouldered into the camera, showing off his chiselled cheekbones and razor sharp jawline.

Happy Valley fans will be treated to what is being labelled an "extraordinary" final episode of the BBC One series on Sunday, with the fate of James' character Tommy Lee Royce finally airing.

James'co-star Con O'Neill, who plays Neil in the show, dropped some hints about the anticipated 60-min show on This Morning earlier this week.

Speaking on the sofa with Holly and Phil, he said: "When I read the script for the last episode, it blew my mind," the actor said on the ITV daytime show. "Sally has written an extraordinary ending to the show."

Satisfied with Con's reply, Holly added: "That is all I need. That is all I need."

Con's comments came after the explosive trailer was released last week.

The spoiler clip teased a showdown between enemies Catherine Cawood and Tommy Lee Royce, leaving fans with "goosebumps".

The clip starts with Catherine looking suspiciously at a property while grandson Ryan Cawood, who has been chatting to dad Tommy over his gaming system after his escape from prison, is grilled by the police.

Catherine is then heard warning: "He's still out there, he's going to be angry and even more desperate and dangerous."

James got his big break back in 2014 when he was cast as hardened criminal Tommy Lee Royce in the show.

Since starring on Happy Valley, the 37 year old star has also secured roles in several other TV series and movies, including the 2019 adaptation of Little Women alongside Emma Watson, Flatliners with Nina Dobrev and in Netflix anthology series Black Mirror.

James is currently engaged to actress Imogen Poots, and they currently share a quirky home in Peckham, slap bang in the centre of London’s thriving arts scene.

The couple first went public with their romance in 2018, when it was revealed they had met and fallen in love while working alongside each other on a West End production of Belleville at the iconic Donmar Warehouse in 2017.
