The Real Housewives of Cheshire star Lystra Adams, 43, shared her thoughts on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s controversial move away from the Royal Family last year. The couple stepped down from their senior duties and moved to Los Angeles, where they now live with their son Archie and newborn daughter Lilibet.

They know what they want.

Discussing their decision to move, the reality star told Express.co.uk: “It’s a shame Harry and Megan left the Royal Family and I do really like them both.

“Equally we don’t know what goes on behind closed doors, it’s not my place to say really, they know what they want.”

Meghan hit the headlines last month when she discussed her life in the Royal Family with Oprah Winfrey.

The former Suits star married into the family back in 2018 and fell pregnant the following year.

In the “bombshell” interview, the Duchess of Sussex said she felt suicidal during her pregnancy and reached out for help.

She also claimed an unnamed member of the family expressed concerns over the colour of their son Archie’s skin.

On her thoughts on the interview, Lystra said she had only seen bits of it, adding: “I just think generally you have to look at both sides of it.”

Since her headline-hitting chat with Oprah, she’s given birth to the couple’s daughter Lilibet.

They said in a statement: “On June 4, we were blessed with the arrival of our daughter, Lili.

“She is more than we could have ever imagined, and we remain grateful for the love and prayers we’ve felt from across the globe.

“Thank you for your continued kindness and support during this very special time for our family.”

The name is in tribute to the Queen and Prince Harry’s late mother Princess Diana.

The reality star went on to say she would love the couple to attend her popular restaurant chain Boujee.

“I would love the royals to visit Boujee,” she added. “Even though I know that’s never going to happen!

“But, yeah that would be nice.”

Aside from her successful business venture, Lystra is best known for starring in Real Housewives of Cheshire.

The mother-of-one joined as main cast member last year after two years of talks with producers.

Lystra said she was “shocked” by the lack of a welcome from some of her co-stars, but said she had started to get to know them better now.

On newbie Deborah Davies joining the show, she added: “She’s lovely, she really is. What you see is what you get.

“I’m not into the physics thing but other than that, we’re good.”

The Real Housewives of Cheshire airs Mondays at 9pm on ITVBe.
