The new parents jetted off to the stunning Swiss ski resort at the beginning of the month to model the new range for Gandys, aptly named Verbier Blue.

Although it was an exciting one filled with skiing, modelling and more, the break caused “mixed emotions” for the couple as it was the first time they had both been away from their baby son, who's name they have kept private.

Speaking exclusively to OK! online about the break, Jess said: “It was our first trip being back to ourselves as a couple.”

And Dom added: “It was nice,” before Jess said: “Kind of mixed emotions because you miss your baby so much but at the same time…”

Dom then suggested: “You can fully relax can’t you?”

To which Jess agreed and said: “Yeah, you kind of slot into being how you were before you were a parent. You remember that you’re not just a parent.”

The couple spent the days modelling the Gandys collection as well as skiing and spending some much-needed quality time together.

As well as the trip being a milestone for the couple, who married in 2018 in a stunning secret ceremony, it was also had another touching meaning behind it.

The clothing brand has a touching story behind it as the two brothers, Rob and Paul Forkan, who own the company lost their parents in the Boxing Day tsunami in 2004.

Rob and Paul later set up the company in their parent’s memory, whom they travelled the world and did charity work with when they were children.

The company also gives back to underprivileged children across the world by building campuses in countries including Sri Lanka, Malawi and Nepal, with a fourth soon opening in Brazil.

Dom said: “We were always gonna go on the trip to model for them but, when we heard the story and we actually met the two owners, they told a group a brief overview of the story and it made us want to work for them even more.”

And Jess added: “I think it really touched the both of us having a baby of our own and imagining what it would be like for them to not have basic things that we take for granted on a daily basis.”
