Kanye West took to the stage at Travis Scott’s Utopia tour in Rome, making this his first public performance since his antisemitic remarks online.
Ye performed two tracks with fellow US rapper Travis at the Circus Maximus stadium on Monday night.
While introducing him to the audience, Scott explained how he was inspired by Kanye, telling the crowd: “There is no Travis Scptt without Kanye West.”
They performed Praise God from Ye’s 2021 album, as well as Donda, featuring Travis.
The Grammy winner seemed a bit out of practice as he missed most of the lyrics, but was saved by the backing track.
In a video of the performance, Kanye went on to perform Can’t Tell Me Nothing from his 2007 album, Graduation.

Kanye took to the stage for the first time since he was dropped by several brands and banned from social media in October due to a string of antisemitic posts.
He accused rapper P Diddly of being controlled by Jewish people on Instagram, appearing to reference an antisemitic conspiracy theory that there is a secret group of Jewish people trying to control governments, banks and the media.
Kanye then tweeted he would go “death con 3 Oon Jewish people”, getting him banned on the microblogging site. (sic)
Brands like Adidas sought to distance themself from the rapper, although last week the company did reveal the full extent of how much they earned selling his Yeezy trainers.
