Katie Piper shares hilarious changing room mishap on ITV’s Loose Women

Katie Piper has revealed that she suffered a hilarious changing room mishap after using the toiletries of another gym member.

The 38 year old, who was recently rushed to A&E for emergency procedure after choking on food, admitted the embarrassing tale as she starred on the panel of ITV's Loose Women alongside Kaye Adams, Nadia Sawalha and Sunetra Sarker on Friday 26 November.

Speaking about avoiding 'confrontation', Katie opened up about her hilarious incident that occurred in the changing room at a 'really posh gym'.

Katie, who shares daughters Penelope, three, and Belle, seven, with husband Richard Sutton, revealed on the daytime show: "I went to the gym and it was one of those really posh gyms where in the changing rooms they have tampons and cotton wool buds and stuff.

"I was like, 'oh I am going to use everything because this is quite exciting!'"

She continued: "I thought I'll just get a bit of 'oh serum, SPF, oh my goodness I will take it all the way down to here!' This woman kept hovering around me and I just thought, 'she has been here a while now? I feel like she is going to ask me a favour or something.'

"Then all of a sudden she just said to me: 'Can I have my stuff back?' It was her toiletries! I was there, soaking wet hair on top of my head, naked with my towel, rubbing her serum all down my chest!"

While her fellow Loose Women panellists were in hysterics over the encounter, Katie continued: "Because I was so embarrassed I didn't even explain myself I was just like, 'er yes'."

Katie added: "I am changing gyms and quitting exercise!"

It comes after Katie hit back at cruel trolls as one said she had a "designer face" following an interview with Sky News on Friday 17 September to discuss her time in lockdown and how her faith brought her "massive comfort".

A user wrote: "Oh dear. @KatiePiper_ (Katie Piper who she?) With lips full of botox and a designer face drawn by surgeons, on the advertising platform called @SkyNews promoting a publication about people needing to be honest with themselves. Couldn't make it up, could you."

Responded to the troll with: "My face has been rebuilt by surgeons using other parts of my body after my face was melted down to the muscle and Skelton following an acid attack.

"But regardless I don’t owe you pretty, perhaps use your time more productively than commenting on women's appearance in the internet".
