It's been 14 years since Katie Price split from her ex-husband Peter Andre, and it appears the singer is still having an impact on her current relationship – which has been on and off since 2020.
Sharing a live stream on TikTok, the former glamour model can be seen talking about her ex's music video from 1996, Mysterious Girl, and sharing her hatred of the song. But in the background her current fiancé, Carl Woods, can be seen telling her to 'let go' of Peter, and asking her why she still cares.
Claiming that Australian singer Peter had slept with the woman appearing in his music video for the hit, Katie tells the camera, "Do you know, I hate that song, he [Peter] s****ed that girl. Let's not talk about that."
Carl's voice can be heard in the background as he probes: "Why do you hate it?"
"I just hate that song, whenever," begins Katie, before her fiancé interrupts: "You can't get over him. You can't get over him and that's why you don't like that he s****ed that girl. You're terrible".
Katie defends: "Whenever we are in a restaurant, do they not play Mysterious Girl?"
"Just let the man go," exclaims Carl as others laugh in the background, to which Katie replies: "He's well and gone, 12 years ago!"
Mysterious Girl was Peter's third single and biggest hit, catapulting him to British fame. The fresh-faced star can be seen in Thailand for the accompanying music video and has previously spoken about going on to have a relationship with a girl from the video.
"I ended up going out with the girl in the video – a Swiss-Thai model called Champagne X, who was a big star at the time – for a year and a half. She was such a sweet person, and it was only distance that made us break up," he said in 2022 while talking to The Irish Times.
Katie and Peter met while appearing on I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004 and, despite the former being in a relationship at the time, formed a close bond. The pair embarked on a relationship shortly after the show and went on to marry the following year.
They share two children; 18-year-old Junior and Princess, 16. Katie is also mum to eldest son Harvey, whose father is Dwight Yorke, and she shares younger children Jett, ten, and Bunny, nine, with ex-husband Kieran Hayley.
While she has been dating Carl since 2020, it hasn't been smooth sailing. The couple has split numerous times but recently confirmed that they were back together with a sunny trip to Ibiza.
Carl proposed in 2021, with many reports that the pair are looking to have a low-key wedding away from prying eyes – including those of Katie's mum, Amy, who has expressed her distaste for Carl.
A source told us previously: 'Katie is planning on having a secret wedding with Carl, then a big party afterwards. It will be soon. She loves the thrill of getting married and wants to do it again.”
Sharing further details on their plans, they went on: 'Katie’s keen to run off and wed Carl at a registry office. The kids will be there, but she won’t tell her mum until it’s done.
'Katie knows Amy would be fuming and tell her not to do it. She keeps suggesting to Carl they elope to Gretna Green.'
