Wayne Rooney came under fire after pictures emerged on social media of him partying with several women in a private hotel room. Now, actress Linda Robson has slammed the former Everton ace, who recently issued a grovelling apology to his wife.
He needs to grow up.

The Derby County boss, 35, last night apologised to his wife Coleen, 35, after video footage and pictures found themselves being shared on social media without his consent.
In the pictures and videos, Wayne appeared to be intoxicated as he enjoyed a night out at Manchester’s Chinawhite nightclub.
Further images showed Wayne asleep at a £60 per night Staycity hotel room in Manchester City Centre, fully clothed, while three women from Cumbria posed alongside him while wearing barely any clothes.
While there is no suggestion Wayne was acting unfaithfully to his wife, he said in a statement that he “made a mistake”.
Following his apology, the incident was discussed on today’s episode of Loose Women, with Linda Robson later being engulfed by rage as she spoke about Mr Rooney’s actions.
Birds of a Feather star Linda, 63, said: “Can I just say, he needs to grow up.
“He’s 35 now, he’s got children, he’s got a lovely wife, how many times is he going to be caught in a position like that?”
Linda went on to say that Wayne should have “learnt by his mistakes”.
She continued: “Surely he’s learned by all the mistakes he’s made in the past.
“All I can say is if it was my partner, I’d be really upset.”
Linda added: “If he went back to a hotel room and there was scantily clad women, the way they were dressed, I’d be really upset.
“Having said that, we ended up going to a night at Magic Mike’s, me and Brenda [Edwards], and ended up on the front page of a newspaper, and my husband wasn’t very pleased about that!”
Since the incident came to light, during a press conference, Wayne said: “I went to a private party with two of my friends.
“And from me, I’d like to apologise to my family and the club for the images which were going round.
“I want to move forward on this. It’s dealt with. I’m looking forward to moving forward and preparing for another game on Sunday.”
The three women, Brooke Morgan, Elise Melvin and Eleanor Hoggarth, from Cumbria, have since apologised to Wayne for the distress they caused him and his family.
A spokesperson for Wayne told The Mirror: “The three girls who took the photographs contacted Wayne’s lawyers and volunteered to hand over all pictures that were taken that night and the copyrights in them.
“They have also, at their own suggestion, made a written apology to him for the events that took place and the embarrassment caused. These were three decent young women who went for a night out. They did not expect Wayne to end up in their company and are remorseful about how things turned out with the pictures.”
They continued: “They got carried away and did something they later regretted. They did not expect it to end up in the mainstream media after it was posted on social media, and they decided to take steps to put things right.
“It would be wrong to say no money changed hands because when a contract is drawn up, there must be a sum, and in this case, it was a nominal £1.
“They have fulsomely apologised because they wanted to do what they saw as the right thing and draw a line under the matter.”
