Taking to Twitter, The Apprentice frontman Lord Sugar, 73, claimed Matt Hancock was “cannon fodder from that spiteful p***k Piers Morgan”, following his appearance on Good Morning Britain today. In a further rant, he said the journalist’s co-star Susanna Reid was a “nodding puppy”.

In response to his tweet, a Twitter user wrote: “Get you on there, that would be an excellent interview.”

He replied: “The coward @piersmorgan and his nodding puppy @susannareid100 won’t have me on as they know I would wipe the floor with him @gmb.”

It comes after Piers clashed with the Health Secretary, following Boris Johnson’s easing of lockdown announcement.

Piers slammed Matt for the Government’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic and queried him about alleged court documents.
